Funeral cover

All SmartCard holders  qualifies for hassle free funeral cover.

All you have to do is visit any Post Office around the country, with your NamPost SmartCard Account number and you can apply for your personal funeral cover worth N$5000. All applicants must have a NamPost SmartCard and be under the age of 70 years. Once cover is taken your SmartCard must be used at least once a month.  If you do not have a SmartCard yet, be sure to apply for one today!


N$ 5000 Funeral Cover

·        Account Holder N$ 5000  at N$ 10.99 per month.

·        Family Cover  N$ 5000 (Account Holder + Spouse/Partner) at N$ 20.88.

·        Family Cover  N$ 5000 (Account Holder + Spouse/Partner) and up to 5 children at N$ 26.37.

·        Family Cover  N$ 5000 (Account Holder + up to 5 children) at N$ 16.48

·        Premium is inclusive of all members of the family.


N$ 10000 Funeral Cover

·        Account Holder  N$10000  at N$ 21.98 per month.

·        Family Cover N$ 10000 (Account Holder + Spouse/Partner) at N$ 41.76.

·        Family Cover N$ 10000 (Account Holder + Spouse/Partner) and up to 5 children at N$ 52.73.

·        Family Cover N$ 10000 (Account Holder + up to 5 children) at N$32.96.

·        Premium is inclusive of all members of the family.


What does the funeral cover include?

Who can apply

·        Any Smartcard Account Holder under the age of 70 years.

·        Existing client can upgrade to a new N$10000 funeral cover.

Claim

·        Claims will be paid out within 48 working hours.

·        Submit your claim with valid and certified documents at any branch.

·        Your policies should have been in existence for 6 months since inception

·        Accidental death is covered after paying  the first premium.


Your family will receive the amount payable within  48 hours, after claim submission. Your policy/policies should have been in existence for 6 months since inception. Accidental death is covered after paying the first premium. 


Benefits must be claimed within 52 weeks of member’s death.
